Team GPP Needs You...to Run for the Cove

Mark your calendars and iron your gym shorts, folks, because on Sunday, October 19, Globe Pequot Press is participating once again in the 11th annual "Run for the Cove" at Hammonasset State Park in Madison, CT. 

Registration begins at 9 AM, and there's an event for just about everyone--a 5K race, a 2-mile walk, and a kids' fun run. ESPN anchor and GPP author Linda Cohn will be on hand to sign copies of her book, Cohn-Head. 

Last year, 30 people from GPP ran, walked, or crawled on behalf of The Cove. This year, however, only 15 of us have signed up. Now, there's nothing wrong with sleeping in till noon on Sundays, but don't forget: the run benefits a great cause. The Cove provides grief services for some of the 40,000 Connecticut children, and their families, who've lost a loved one. Sign up here, and be sure to register with the GPP Team.
